The Landscape Research Laboratory of the Institute of Geography and Regional Development at UWr invites you to an open lecture entitled Japan’s satoyama landscapes in the 21st century: challenges and opportunities, to be delivered by dr Lidia Sasaki of Tokyo Metropolitan University.
The ‘satoyama’ landscapes are an example of Japan’s traditional agricultural landscapes with high biodiversity, but are now in danger of disappearing in many areas.
The lecture will take place on 10 March 2023 at 11:30 am in room 336 – 3rd floor of the UWr main building.
