On Saturday, 12 October, at 6 p.m., in the hall of the Institute of English Studies, ul. Kuźnicza 22, a theatre performance entitledIn Darfur will take place, performed by the theatre troupe The TUDORS, consisting of students from Dresden University of Technology
The play will be performed in English and admission is free.
The group THE TUDORS is visiting the University of Wrocław for the second time. Last year, the UWr community saw them in the play Last Stop in Clausnitz at the Oratorium Marianum.
The author of the play In Darfur is Winter Miller:
“In Darfur” is the provocative account of three intertwined lives at a camp for internally displaced persons in Darfur. The story follows an aid worker’s mission to save and protect lives, a journalist’s pursuit to deliver a “Page One” story and a Darfuri woman’s quest for safety.
