FAST – funding for students!

The City of Wrocław invites students and doctoral students to participate in a competition to subsidise projects of study circles, organisations and student groups as part of the Student Activity Fund (FAST). We encourage students from the University of Wrocław to apply for a grant. The application deadline is 23 March.

FAST is a programme of the City of Wrocław, which was created on the initiative of Mayor Jacek Sutryk. The aim of the programme is to support academic entrepreneurship, scientific excellence and creativity of students and doctoral students at Wrocław universities and institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences, which is in line with the policy of the city authorities – Wrocław as a city friendly to academic communities.

As part of the COMPETITION, scientific circles, organisations and student groups operating at Wrocław’s universities and institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences may apply for funding from the municipal budget. The subject matter of the projects is free, related to the profile of the scientific club, group or student organisation; each of the submitted projects has a chance of receiving funding of up to PLN 10,000.

The deadline for submitting applications is 23.03.2023. If the documentation is submitted to the Office for Cooperation with Higher Education, it will be accepted until 3:45 p.m., while documents signed using a qualified electronic signature can be submitted until 11:59 p.m. (only via the ePUAP platform).

The results of the competition will be approved by the Mayor of Wrocław or a person authorised by him. The results will be published on the Akademicki Wrocław website under WCA/FAST and in the Public Information Bulletin of the Municipality of Wrocław by 04.05.2023.
