First Wrocław Luminescence Seminar (WSL)
On 10th April 2025 at 10:00 AM, the first Wrocław Luminescence Seminar (WSL) will take place in the Auditorium of the Institute of Low Temperature and Structure Research, Polish Academy of Sciences (INTiBS PAN), at 2 Okólna Street. This new initiative aims to bring together the Wrocław spectroscopy community and strengthen cooperation between the University of Wrocław, INTiBS PAN, and Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
The seminars will be held regularly, three times a year, on a rotating basis at the premises of the three partner institutions.
Speakers at the inaugural meeting will include:
- prof. dr hab. Artur Bednarkiewicz (PAN) – Nowe oblicze lawinowej emisji fotonów
- dr hab. Rafał Szabla (PWr) – Quantum-chemical perspective on photoinduced electron transfer in DNA and RNA
- mgr inż. Łukasz Duda (UWr) – Zastosowanie barwników organicznych w układach fotonicznych
