From Córdoba to Wrocław
This year, students of the University of the Third Age at the University of Wrocław had the opportunity to travel to Spain as part of the Erasmus+ programme. They visited the Spanish city of Córdoba, where they spent a week. Now, in return, a group of senior visitors from Spain has arrived in Wrocław!
At the University of Wrocław, we are pleased to host a special group of students from the Intergenerational Centre of the University of Córdoba.
They began their visit with a joint singing session alongside the Sursum Corda Choir, conducted by mgr Anna Sipak. Afterwards, they attended a fascinating lecture on the history of Wrocław, prepared especially for them – in Spanish – by dr Magdalena Krzyżostaniak from the Institute of Romance Studuies at the University of Wrocław.
In the Senate Hall, they met with the Vice-Rector for Finance and Development, dr hab. Arkadiusz Lewicki, prof. UWr. They shared their impressions of their stay at our university. They also toured the university’s most beautiful interiors, including the Aula Leopoldina and the Oratorium Marianum, where they enjoyed a short concert performed by former rector Professor Adam Jezierski.
We wish you a wonderful stay in Wrocław!
