Future Unlimited – a development programme for students of the University of Wrocław
Can the future be predicted? Not necessarily. But it certainly can be consciously shaped – this was the guiding idea behind Future Unlimited, a development programme delivered by Smith+Nephew from March to June.
The programme was designed for students who want to develop skills that are in demand on the job market, learn how an international company operates, and gain practical knowledge in selected areas of business.
It consisted of specialist modules (including finance and accounting, data analysis, IT, HR, and customer service) and a series of workshops aimed at developing soft skills – from effective communication and public speaking to time management and personal branding.
Key figures:
- over 300 applications
- 113 participants
- 49 students successfully completed the entire programme and received certificates
- 12 sessions – content-rich and engaging for both trainers and participants
Each module was led by experienced experts from the Smith+Nephew team, who generously shared their knowledge and insights. Special thanks go to Natalia Karakostas, Site Delivery Manager at Smith+Nephew and the originator of the programme.
The Academic Career Office of the University of Wrocław was actively involved in the programme from the very beginning.
We congratulate all students who took part in the Future Unlimited programme. We are confident that the skills they have gained will be a valuable asset in their continued professional development.
