Green University in a green city – Wrocław Medical University conference
On 17 March 2023, Wrocław Medical University hosts a conference named “Green University in a green city.”
The aim of the conference is to broaden the public knowledge on the impact of the environment on human health and life.
The symposium will focus on topics regarding sustainable development, conserving natural resources, the need for the development of research and educational projects concerning the environment.
The event has been planned in a hybrid mode and is addressed to scientists, students, local authorities, pro-ecological institutions, social activists, inhabitants of Lower Silesia and all lovers of ecology.
The conference programme will include three parallel sessions with lectures, workshops, poster exhibitions and presentation of promotional stands.
Plenary sessions will initiate discussions on the following topics:
- Green solutions at the university
- Climate change
- Water pollution
- Zero waste
- Green transport
- Waste management
- Green spaces in urban areas
- Green energy sources
- Environmental education
- Sustainable development
