For the time being, WHO and ECDC do not impose an obligation to put people coming from Asian countries under supervision as long as they do not qualify for the further proceeding. For further proceeding qualify people who meet the clinical and epidemiological criteria.

Clinical criteria

Each person who shows at least one of the following symptoms of an acute respiratory infection:

• Fever
• Cough
• Dyspnea

Epidemiological criteria

Each person who, within 14 days prior to these symptoms, met at least one of the following criteria:

• Travelled/Stayed in a region where there is a suspicion for transmission of SARS-CoV-2;
• Had a close contact with a person who was infected with the SARS-CoV-2 (either probable or proven case of infection);
• Worked/Stayed as a visitor in a health care unit where those infected with SARS-CoV-2 were being cured.

In case of those coming back from high-risk regions (the list is to be found on the website), it is advisable to visit the nearest sanitary epidemiological station even if there are no symptoms.
