University Legal Clinic

The University Legal Clinic, operating at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics, prepares legal advice concerning various areas of Polish law, among others: civil law (inheritance, property law, obligations, including contracts), family law (cases concerning alimony, divorce, separation), housing law, social security, labour law, criminal law and others. Advice is provided to individuals in writing form. The Clinic does not provide advice related to starting or running a business.

The advice is provided by final-year law students under the supervision of WPAE academic staff. The Clinic is available to those who do not have sufficient financial resources to pay for legal services. By seeking legal advice, students receive free legal advice but also contribute to the acquisition of practical skills and to the operation of pro bono legal counseling.

Apply if you:

  • have found yourself in a difficult situation
  • are facing a problem with a legal issue in your everyday life
  • could benefit from knowledge of the legal regulations
  • need advice on how to solve a property, family, official or other case
  • cannot afford to pay for paid legal assistance.

Currently, due to the pandemic, the University Legal Clinic does not hold office hours but it is possible to obtain advice:

  • by e-mail (the University Legal Clinic’s e-mail address: upp@uwr.edu.pl);
  • by post (address: Uniwersytecka Poradnia Prawna, ul. Uniwersytecka 22/26, 50-145 Wrocław).

To use the services of the University Legal Clinic, fill in and send back the application form. Before sending the form, please read the regulations of the Clinic. All attachments are written in Polish.
