Helping is an art. Exhibition for Sebastian
An unusual event took place at the University Library – an exhibition of works by students from grades II to V of the Stanisław Kopystyński Secondary School of Visual Arts in Wrocław. The exhibition was part of a campaign to help Sebastian, the son of a UWr employee. More about the collection https://uwr.edu.pl/en/fundraiser-for-sebastian-lewicki/
The paintings were executed in the painting and drawing studio under the direction of prof. Agnieszka Traczyńska and prof. Katarzyna Rutkowska and prof. Paweł Sobolewski. Graphic works were made in the graphics and printmaking studio under the direction of prof. Manfred Bator. The exhibition was curated by Agnieszka Marciniak-Kucharska. The works reflect the creative search of the young generation. The young artists wrestle with the matter of form, space and colour, creating surprising compositions depicting portraits, landscapes and still lifes. They challenge the great masters by trying their hand at making copies.
We encourage you to see Paweł Piotrowski’s photo report.
