Bricker represented the Dean’s Authority of the College of Liberal Arts, and was hosted by us at the invitation of the Institute of Philosophy and Centrum Cassirera (Cassirer Centre).
The meeting at the rector’s office was attended by representatives of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Dean prof. Robert Alberski, Vice-Dean prof. The possibilities of joint research projects were discussed (one such project in the framework of interdisciplinary research and international cooperation is already in the making), student exchanges, and the Centrum Cassirera (Cassirer Centre) as a unit serving these purposes and preparing its proposal for the beginning of a series of meetings “Culture Week 1.2024” (11-15.03.2024), which will feature lecturing professors from Southern Illinois University (USA), Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania) and SWPS University in Warsaw (Poland).
