International Archaeological Symposium
The Institute of Archaeology of the University of Wrocław is currently hosting the 4th International Symposium entitled “The latest results of American Studies”. The event is co-organised with the Polish Academy of Sciences, Wrocław Branch and the Centre for Late Antique and Early Medieval Studies of the IAE PAN. All activities, lectures and discussions concern archaeological, historical and ethnographic research conducted by researchers from Poland and abroad. The University of Wrocław is represented by dr Jakub Wanot with an independent paper (Pre-Columbian work baskets from the San Francisco archaeological site (Yauca Valley) as textile tools and grave offerings), and a joint paper with prof. dr hab. Józef Szykulski (Pre-Hispanic societies at the mouth of the Tambo River (Arequipa). Sequence of cultural development from the Preceramic to the Late Horizon). We warmly encourage you to attend the conference, which lasts until tomorrow!
