International Staff Week
From 23 to 27 May, the International Cooperation Office (BWM) hosted representatives of many foreign universities at the 10th edition of the International Staff Week.
Throughout the week, the guests had the opportunity to get to know both the University of Wrocław and Wrocław itself. This was ensured by a programme specially prepared by BWM, which combined training and cultural elements and included a basic Polish language course, intercultural workshops, discussions on recruitment systems and the Erasmus Plus programme, especially the Erasmus Without Paper aspect. There was also a full-day trip to the Arboretum Wojsławice and a guided tour of Wrocław, as well as a visit to the Zajezdnia History Centre.
The International Staff Week was attended by academic and administrative staff from the following countries: the Dominican Republic (Santo Domingo Institute of Technology INTEC), Ukraine (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv), Portugal (Catholic University of Portugal), Romania (University of Bucharest), Germany (Free University of Berlin and European University Viadrina), Slovenia (University of Ljubljana), Israel (Tel Aviv University), Greece (University of Crete and University of Thessaly), Spain (Rey Juan Carlos University), Kosovo (Isparta University of Applied Sciences) and Turkey (University Of Manisa Celal Bayar).
It was a very productive week for both guests and organisers, and hopefully the beginning of long-lasting and important cooperation for our university!
