Invitation to a family neighbourhood picnic at the Grunwald Campus

The Social Responsibility Office invites all employees and students of the University of Wrocław to celebrate the Plac Grunwaldzki district at a family picnic at the Grunwald Campus on Saturday (3 June 2023, 16:00-21:30).

The main organiser is our Partner – Ładne Historie Foundation.

Event location:

The square between ul. Szczytnicka, ul. Wyszyńskiego, ul. Joliot-Curie and ul. Polaka. The entrance to the meadow is opposite the roundabout at ul. Polaka and ul. Wrocławczyka.

Picnic during Plac Grunwaldzki District Day will take place this Saturday (3 June) at the Grunwald Campus, where the celebration starts at 16:00! ? As a part of the #naszGRUNWALD partnership, we have prepared many free-of-charge attractions for small and big seekers of creative activities:

?Together with Paulina from W Połączeniu, we will learn about melliferous and medicinal plants and make flower bombs, perfect for greening Grunwald.

?Natalia Jerzak will take us to the circus, where everything is possible! We will prepare the arena and the puppets to perform in it.

?The team from the 29th branch of the Municipal Public Library in Wrocław will show us how to give books a second life in a creative way.

?Together with Joanna Myszkowiak from the St. Brother Albert Aid Society, we will make less-waste wooden birds that decorate any space.

?Under the supervision of students from the Student Government of the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, Student Self-Government UWr and the WSB Merito University Wroclaw, we will make ornaments from clay, plaster, and nature’s gifts, learn the secrets of the lawyers’ work, move in the rhythm of Zumba, and prepare giga colouring book and our Grunwald collage!

?Talented volunteers from befriended secondary schools (Liceum Sztuk Plastycznych [High School of Fine Arts]) will conjure magical glitter tattoos!

?The university’s Scena na Łące will feature Gieni Dudki and soloist Nazar Tatsyshyn.
