Landscape Day [PHOTO REPORT]
On 20 October, the University of Wrocław’s campus at ul. Maxa Borna celebrated International Landscape Day – workshops, lectures and other attractions were organised on this occasion by the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Management and the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy.
The initiative to celebrate the International Landscape Day, established by the Council of Europe, came from the General Directorate for the Environment. This year, the University of Wrocław also joined in.
Several hybrid lectures, workshops for secondary school students and creative workshops for students were held on the campus ul. Maxa Borna. Two excursions were also organised: a landscape walk through Wrocław’s Old Town and a QUEST with the Geological Museum. A student scientific circle encouraged students to join its ranks, while a relaxation zone and a selfie spot also awaited participants.
