Lecture by prof. Jurand Wojewoda as part of the Studium Generale

On 30 May at 17:15 in the Oratorium Marianum, another lecture will be held as part of the Interdisciplinary Seminar Studium Generale Universitatis Wratislaviensis named after Professor Jan Mozrzymas.

Dr hab. Jurand Wojewoda, professor of the University of Science and Technology (PWr), will give a lecture entitled Sejsmiczność Ziemi – przyczyny, historia, teraźniejszość i przyszłość (Earth seismicity – causes, history, present and future). Participants will learn about the global and local causes of earthquakes.

Professor will present the history of earthquake research and talk about palaeoseismic and archaeoseismic events and seismic monitoring.
