Lecture by Prof. Pat (J.S.) Heslop-Harris at the Faculty of Biological Sciences
From 27 August to 2 September 2025, the Department of Genetics and Cell Physiology of the Faculty of Biological Sciences of the University of Wrocław will host Professor Pat (J.S.) Heslop-Harrison from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom.
The lecture entitled ‘Biodiversity, Agriculture, and the Long-Range Organisation of Genomes’ will be held on Tuesday, 2 September 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Large Lecture Hall (DSW) at ul. Kanonie 6/8.
Bio
Pat (J.S.) Heslop-Harrison is Professor of Plant Cell Biology and Molecular Cytogenetics at the University of Leicester. He leads the Molecular Cytogenetics research group, which focuses on agricultural genomics and the evolution of plants and animals, with a particular emphasis on crops and farm animals.
