Lecture on the IGNIS mission at the University of Wrocław

On 29 May 2025 at 12:00, the Institute of Theoretical Physics of the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Wrocław invites you to a lecture by Anna Bukiewicz-Szul from the Polish Space Agency, dedicated to the launch of the IGNIS mission.
The event will take place in the Large Physics Hall at the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy building at Plac Maksa Borna 9.

Bio
Since 2023, Anna Bukiewicz-Szul has been an expert at the Polish Space Agency, responsible for the educational programme related to the IGNIS mission. She is the co-founder and leader of the WroSpace association. A science populariser specialising in space exploration, astronomy, and modern physics, she holds a degree in computational physics. For 14 years, she worked as a physics and IT teacher in Wrocław. A passionate educator and community activist, she is responsible for both the organisational and substantive aspects of WroSpace projects, including World Space Week Wrocław—one of the largest science outreach events focused on space in Poland. She serves as a Space Ambassador for the ESERO Poland Space Education Office. She co-organises teacher training sessions, where she shares knowledge gained from international courses she has attended, including those run by CERN, ESA, and ASEF. She is a recipient of the 2020 award from the Polish Physical Society for outstanding physics teachers and the 2023 ARP S.A. Constellation Award in the category “Nadzieja sektora kosmicznego.”
