
Lower Silesian Congress of Mathematics Teachers
The Lower Silesian Congress of Mathematics Teachers, attended by more than 120 teachers from Lower Silesian schools, concluded at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science.
The congress began with a speech by Piotr Świędrych, director of the District Examination Commission. Jacek Świątkowski talked about perspective theory, Jarosław Wróblewski discussed tasks using polynomial identities and Ludomir Newelski gave a lecture on mathematical proofs in a historical and philosophical perspective. Grzegorz Jagiella and Michał Marcinkowski presented examples of the use of artificial intelligence in the didactics of mathematics.
The UWr Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science promises to organise similar congresses in the future.
