Meeting with prof. Jan Miodek
This year, the Student Scientific Association of Linguists at UWr celebrates its 65th birthday! It is a good opportunity to get together, recall, look at old chronicles and photos. To celebrate this noble jubilee, students and doctoral students organised an author’s evening with the Master, professor Jan Miodek, whose latest book “Polszczyzna. 200 felietonów o języku” was published in autumn 2022 by the Znak publishing house. The meeting took place in the institute’s reading room, the Nehring Room, at the Institute of Polish Studies on Tuesday 31 January. Dr Marta Śleziak and professor Monika Zaśko-Zielińska provided substantive and organisational support for the meeting. Below are photos from the event.
