Meta Research Centre
The Meta Research Centre is a research unit established as part of the University of Wrocław – Research University project. The head of the research team is dr Bartosz Helfer. The main task of the Centre is to assess methodological quality and the risk of bias in research. The researchers analyse research methods and practices in order to improve and standardise the research process and thus aim to improve the rational management of research resources. The scope of the Meta Centre’s research activity spans different scientific disciplines. Currently, some of the researchers focus on clinical research methodologies in health and infant nutrition. The rest of the team is looking at research methodology in mental health as part of the OPUS project funded by the National Science Centre. The Meta Research Centre collaborates closely with a number of scientific institutions in Poland and internationally, publishing its research results in influential scientific journals.
