Toksofilos – szkoła łucznictwa in two books
On 16 June, in the Osobowicki Forest in Wrocław, during the archery competition taking place as part of the III Memorial of Piotr Gonet, the premiere of the first Polish translation of the 16th-century work Toxophilus took place. The event was attended by representatives of the publishing house and the authors of the translation – Michał Surma (originator, translator), Katarzyna Byłów (translator), Andrzej Graniak (illustrator, author of illustrations). Professor Jerzy Korczak’s jubilee
Last Friday we celebrated the 70th anniversary of Professor Jerzy Korczak, Director of the Institute of Administrative Sciences and Head of the Department of the System of Public Administration. During the conference that accompanied the event, the publishing house presented its latest publications, including the 337th volume of the scientific journal Prawo (eng. Law), edited by Jerzy Korczak. The paper version will soon be available on the website: Publications | University of Wrocław Publishing House (wuwr.eu) and the possibility to read it in open access on the Scientific Journals on the Web Platform (wuwr.pl)
