Mondays with WUWr #40

What’s new at the University of Wrocław Press?

In our series #MondayswithWUWr, we keep you up to date with the most important events, book news and issues important to the Publishing House! We also encourage you to follow the wuwr.eu website and the Publishing House’s social media – FbLinkedIn and Instagram and YouTube. We encourage you to follow!

All issues of the QUART journal are available online at wuwr.pl!

Due to the fact that since 2024 the University of Wrocław Press is the publisher of the QUART journal (the quarterly of the UWr Institute of Art History), over the last year the team responsible for the journals has also been busy transferring all the archival issues to the Scientific Journals on the Web platform. Today we can announce that this process is complete, thus providing full, open access to all issues of Quart!

In the first issue from 2006, for example, you will find an extremely interesting article ‘Wrocławski Nowy Targ. Jego dzieje i rewaloryzacja’ by the current director of the Institute of Art History, Prof. Rafał Eysymontt. The photographs of the square from the late 19th century can cause quite a surprise! You can find the first issue here: No. 1(1) (2006) | Quart.

And the latest issue is coming soon to: https://wuwr.pl/quart/

The 33rd GOCC Finale is over, but the auctions of WUWr books are still going on!

The 33rd GOCC Finale took place on 26 January, but thanks to auctions prepared by WUWr University, it is still playing with the Orchestra for several days! You can bid for books and meetings with authors! If you don’t already have your copy of a book you would like to own, here is an opportunity to do some good!
