Premiere of the book ‘Pedagogia pozytywna w edukacji przedszkolnej i wczesnoszkolnej’

The University of Wrocław Press has published ‘Pedagogia pozytywna w edukacji przedszkolnej i wczesnoszkolnej’, a collection of stories from teachers, educators and directors who share their experiences. The authors present practical examples of how positive pedagogy can change everyday work with children and support their development.

The book has an unusual editorial form – it comes in a box and consists of sixteen notebooks. Each of them contains stories by different authors relating to the same keyword, including acceptance, kindness, trust, dignity, passion, mindfulness, commitment and much more! The reader can choose the order in which to read the stories, giving them their own, individual meaning.

The book was created as a result of a meeting of teachers and educators who shared their experiences during a scientific seminar. The stories included in the publication show that positive pedagogy is not only a theory, but a real practice based on building on the strengths of the child. It encourages a change in the approach to teaching and looking at education as a process of building the well-being of students and teachers.
