Interview with Anna Lubinska, author of a book on bibliophilism by Umberto Eco
Libraries, antiquarian bookshops, publishing houses and medieval scriptoria are motifs that frequently appear in Umberto Eco’s literary and journalistic works. These elements were evidence of his love of reading, which he described as spiritual consumption. If you would like to find out more, you are cordially invited to attend a meeting with Anna Lubinska, author of The Book and the Library in Selected Works by Umberto Eco, organised by WUWr and the Good Culture Foundation, which has taken the book under its patronage. Participants in the event will be the first to read the book and will be able to ask the author questions, and there will also be a surprise waiting for them! The book’s premiere is coming soon, and the photo shows Eco’s hand-drawings, which you can find in the publication!
Register for the meeting: Książka i biblioteka oczami Umberta Eco: wywiad z Anną Lubińską – BEZPŁATNY webinar (clickmeeting.com).
