New EU-funded project launches at the University of Wrocław
The University of Wroclaw has received a grant from the European Union for the project ‘University of Wrocław: Developing Human Resources for the Lower Silesian Labour Market’. – we will train more than 1,500 people to increase their competitiveness on the labour market.
The application has been prepared and will be coordinated by the Technology Transfer Centre. We are implementing the project together with the ‘Lower Silesian Hydrogen Valley’ Association and the Lower Silesian Federation of Non-Governmental Organisations. Together we will analyse the economic situation and refine the training topics to better meet the expectations of the labour market.
The project will benefit both working people aiming to improve their competences in their current sector and those who are not economically active: students, unemployed or looking for work.
Ultimately, we will provide more than 90 training courses in four thematic blocks: for teachers, for local government and non-government employees, for industry employees and for SME employees.
The result of the project will be to increase the competitiveness on the labour market of people who want to develop their skills and knowledge in their professional field, want to acquire new qualifications, are starting their professional career or have had a long break and need support in updating their skills, retraining and integrating into the labour market.
