New IDUB competition – Publication bonus

At the beginning of the 2024/2025 academic year, a completely new competition will be launched as part of the pro-quality method of remunerating academic staff in the ‘Excellence Initiative – Research University’ programme. Thus, the next editions of the competitions for incentive allowances will no longer be announced in their current form.

The new competition will be held on a rolling basis and provides simple rules for awarding bonuses to academic staff for publications that have been published from 1 January 2024 onwards. The awarding of a publication bonus will depend on the score of the published article or monograph. The score will be determined according to the current list of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Detailed rules will be announced in the competition regulations in the first half of September 2024.
