News from the Ministry of Climate and Environment

We have just received a certificate that the Botanical Garden of the University of Wrocław (as the eighth scientific unit in Poland) has been entered in the register of scientific institutions authorised to transport plant material (live species, herbarium specimens) across the border of the European Union for scientific purposes. Thanks to this certificate, the exchange of the most valuable plants with other scientific institutions around the world will be greatly facilitated, and the Garden will be able to continue to develop one of its most important statutory activities, namely ex-situ conservation.
