Next edition of the #HelpersGeneration campaign – join the community of potential stem cell donors

With the arrival of spring, we invite students at our university to take part in a unique initiative: registration as potential stem cell donors as part of the #HelpersGeneration campaign, organised in cooperation with the DKMS Foundation. Registration opens on 7 April 2025.

This is an opportunity to make a real difference to people suffering from blood cancers, for whom a stem cell transplant is often the only route to recovery. Every new registration in the donor database increases the chance of finding a genetic match.

Become a volunteer
We also warmly invite those who would like to get involved in organising the campaign as volunteers. Full training and support will be provided by the campaign coordinators – Marianna and Natalia. No prior experience is required – enthusiasm and commitment are what truly matter.

Volunteering offers you:

  • an official certificate of participation,
  • valuable experience and development of soft skills,
  • the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

During the campaign, it will be possible to register in person as a potential stem cell donor with the DKMS Foundation.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact our coordinators by email:

We encourage you to take part in the #HelpersGeneration – Team UWr initiative. Together, we can truly make a difference.
