Success of the University of Wrocław Press at the KLIO Award 2025
During the official opening of the 33rd Historical Book Fair in Warsaw, held on 27 November 2025 in the Great Hall of the Royal Castle, the final results of the KLIO Award 2025 were announced and the prizes were presented to the laureates.
Out of more than 290 publications reviewed, two books published by the University of Wrocław Press reached the final stage of the competition. Both were not only nominated but also honoured with awards:
- First Prize in the category of scholarly monographs was awarded to the publication by dr hab. Dagmara Adamska, prof. UWr, Winogrady i winne wzgórza. Uprawa i produkcja wina na średniowiecznym Śląsku (Historical Institute, University of Wrocław).
- Third Prize in the category of Varsaviana and regional studies was awarded to the book by prof. Jarosław Syrnyk, Łemkowskie rozdroże (Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology, University of Wrocław).
We warmly congratulate the Authors and wish them continued academic success. Our congratulations also go to the University of Wrocław Press, the publisher of both award-winning titles.
