Nominations for the KLIO Award 2025
We are pleased to announce that out of more than 290 publications considered, two books published by the University of Wrocław Press have been nominated for the KLIO Award in 2025.
In the category of academic monographs, the publication by Dr hab. Dagmara Adamska, Prof. UWr, titled Winogrady i winne wzgórza. Uprawa i produkcja wina na średniowiecznym Śląsku, has been distinguished.
In the category of varsaviana and regional studies, the book by Prof. Jarosław Syrnyk, titled Łemkowskie rozdroże, has been nominated.
The preliminary results will be officially announced at a press conference on 25 November 2025 at 12:00 in Warsaw, at the Kubicki Arcades of the Royal Castle, Plac Zamkowy 4.
The announcement of the final results and the awarding ceremony will take place during the opening of the 33rd Historical Book Fair in Warsaw on 27 November 2025 at 12:00 in the Great Hall of the Royal Castle in Warsaw.
