NPRH and MINIATURA 7 grants for researchers at the Faculty of Letters

Researchers from the Faculty of Letters at the University of Wrocław have recently received grants totalling PLN 370,000!

– dr Krzysztof Żarski from the Institute of German Studies received an NPRH grant (NPRH/U21/SP/0020/2023/12) in the competition Universalia 2.1., amount: PLN 90,209.00 entitled „Umiędzynarodowienie dzieła Zygmunta Łempickiego”.

– prof. UWr Justyna Ziarkowska from the Institute of Romance Studies was awarded a NPRH grant (11 NPRH/U22/SP/0154/2023/12) in the competition Universalia 2.2., amount: PLN 214,478.00, entitled „Nowoczesność baroku. Przekład, opracowanie naukowe i wydanie poematu Soledades Luisa de Góngory”.

The National Science Centre awarded two grants for employees of the Faculty of Letters as part of the MINIATURA 7 competition:

• dr Katarzyna Lisowska (Institute of Polish Studies), project entitled „Retoryka przemocy seksualnej w literaturze polskiej – konteksty”, amounting to PLN 20 746.
• dr Kamil Olender (Institute of Journalism and Social Communication), project entitled „Systemy orientacyjne w komunikacji zbiorowej a kulturowy wymiar unikania niepewności – analiza behawioralna i semiotyczna wybranych miast Europy”, amounting to PLN 41 597.
