On effective solutions for safety
“Planowanie w systemie bezpieczeństwa” – is the title of a scientific conference to be held on 6 June at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław.
The conference is organised within the framework of the GOSPOSTRATEG research project no. IX-001G/22, titled „Opracowanie założeń zintegrowanego systemu gromadzenia i przetwarzania wiedzy ratowniczej dla faz: przygotowania, zapobiegania, reagowania i odbudowy, na potrzeby ochrony przeciwpożarowej i ochrony ludności”.
This research project is being carried out by the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław in collaboration with a consortium consisting of the Main School of Fire Service (the consortium leader), the War Studies University, the Józef Tuliszkowski Scientific and Research Centre for Fire Protection – National Research Institute, and the Headquarters of the State Fire Service.
In the first phase of the project, experts from the University of Wrocław have already conducted an analysis of the current legal framework concerning existing rescue plans.
They have verified the legal basis for the validity of rescue plans, as well as the effectiveness of their implementation, taking into account, among other things, the findings of the Supreme Audit Office (NIK).
– In the second phase of the project, the University of Wrocław’s primary task will be to develop a complete set of proposed legal amendments aimed at the future implementation of the planning documentation solutions put forward by the consortium – emphasise prof. dr hab. Karol Kiczka, the project leader on behalf of the University of Wrocław as well as prof. dr hab. Tadeusz Kocowski.
Importantly: – The work is closely related to the recently enacted Act on Civil Protection and Civil Defence – adds dr Michał Raduła from the Department of Public Economic Law (Institute of Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics, University of Wrocław).
The conference will open on 6 June 2025 at 9:00 a.m. in the Witold Świda Room (Building D, Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics, University of Wrocław, ul. Uniwersytecka 7-10).
