Opening of the temporary exhibition: “Entangled. Historical non-European ethnographic collections of the University of Wrocław”
Museum of the University of Wrocław cordially invites you to the official opening of its latest temporary exhibition entitled „Uwikłane. Dawne pozaeuropejskie zbiory etnograficzne Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego” (eng. “Entangled. Historical Non-European Ethnographic Collections of the University of Wrocław”), which will take place on 16 May 2025 at 12:00 noon in the Sala pod Filarem at the Museum’s premises (Plac Uniwersytecki 1).
The exhibition, prepared in cooperation with the National Museum in Wrocław, explores the complex history of non-European ethnographic collections held by the University of Wrocław.
It raises questions about the contexts in which these objects were acquired and their significance in today’s world. The exhibition will be open to the public until 2 November 2025.
