Our three students admitted to the “Arqus Multiple Master’s Degree Programme in Translation” 2024-2025
In a truly European atmosphere, between the inspiring ideas of Jean Monnet, founder of the European Coal and Steel Community (1951), and the three-hundred-year-old camellia (Lat. Camellia Japonica) from Guimarães next to Braga, the winner of fourth place in the European Tree of the Year 2024 Award, three students of the Institute of Romance Studies, University of Wrocław, will spend their first term of the next academic year 2024-2025 thanks to the agreement on the “Arqus Multiple Master’s Degree Programme in Translation” signed in November 2023.
We would like to congratulate Oliwia Skalska and Marika Ciołek, who have been accepted into the double degree programme at the Université Jean Monnet situated in a post-industrial French city St-Etienne, and Radosław Hućko, who has qualified for the Universidade do Minho em Braga, a university located in the evergreen Portugal. These students, in addition to the “Romance Studies – Translation and Interpreting” diploma, undertaken at the Department of Romance Studies UWr, will be pursuing the parallel diploma “Master Traduction et Interprétation. Parcours Métiers de la Rédaction et de la Traduction” in France and “Mestrado em Tradução e Comunicação Multilingue” in Portugal, respectively. We wish them every success!
