
„Passive observer? China against the Russo-Japanese War” – open lecture
Historical Institute of the University of Wrocław invites to an open lecture by dr Mateusz Nowikiewicz titled „Bierny obserwator? Chiny wobec wojny japońsko-rosyjskiej (1904–1905).” Presentation will take place on 14 April 2026 (Tuesday) at 3.30 pm in the Auditorium (Lecture hall) of the UWr Historical Institute, ul. Szewska 49.
Dr Mateusz Nowikiewicz is an assistant professor at the UWr the Historical Institute, a specialist in Chinese history of the late imperial and republican era, a history graduate at the University of Wrocław and Nanjing Shifan Daxue (南京師範大學).
