
Prof. Krzysztof Ruchniewicz as an expert at the Georg Eckert Institute
Prof. Krzysztof Ruchniewicz is a director of the Willy Brandt Centre for German and European Studies at the University of Wrocław and the manager of the most recent history academic department in this Centre. He is also a researcher at the UWr Historical Institute. He has been invited by the president of the Leibniz Gemeinschaft, Prof. Martina Brockmeier, as an expert to evaluate the Leibniz Institute for Educational Media. The Georg Eckert Institute (GEI) in Brunswick. The researcher from Wrocław is among ten colleagues from Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, who will become familiar with the functioning of the institute in Brunswick and evaluate its activity over the past few years.

Prof. Ruchniewicz is the author of various textbooks and school materials, including the first textbook devoted to the history of European integration, and a co-author of educational materials on Polish-German relations in the 20th century. Whereas the Georg Eckert Institute is a unique research institution on a global scale, dealing with the analysis of textbooks and educational materials. The results of its work are published in various journals and publishing series with global reach.
