Its main objective is to foster cooperation between the best scientists from Germany and other countries. The Humboldt Foundation offers prestigious scholarships to representatives of all scientific disciplines and at every stage of their scientific career (from PhD upwards), has an extensive scholarship offer (scholarships and prizes) and carries out integration activities for former Humboldt Scholars. They are a role model for many institutions of their kind in various countries.
