PROM – the new edition of the NAWA programme
The International Office’s application in the PROM competition for short-term academic exchange received funding from the National Academic Exchange Agency to the tune of nearly PLN 2 million. The funds will enable academic staff, doctoral students and UWr students to travel to academic centres all over the world (excluding the Russian Federation) and receive visitors to Wrocław.

As many as 140 mobilities are planned in the project, including:
- trips and arrivals for group study visits and individual trips for summer/winter schools, courses and other organised forms for students – 30 trips and 10 arrivals;
- 43 outgoing doctoral students – individual mobility in order to carry out queries, take an active part in a conference, participate in a summer/winter school or courses, carry out consultations or research in a foreign unit, and other forms of acquiring qualifications and competences specified by NAWA in the PROM programme regulations;
- 15 arrivals of doctoral students for study visits at UWr;
- 32 mobilities of UWr staff in order to acquire or improve competences/qualifications;
- 10 visits of academic staff from foreign institutions to the University of Wrocław.
The programme will be implemented from 1.10.2024 to 30.09.2025. In the first weeks, project regulations will be developed and participants will be recruited; mobility will be implemented from January 2025.
