Volume XII – Towards interdisciplati … Different faces of reality
The volume includes the lectures and introductions to discussions presented at the Studium Generale seminar in the academic year 2006/2007. In the arrangement of the content and sequence of the papers, an attempt was made to preserve the idea that has guided the meetings since the beginning of the activity of Studium Generale. The most important was the idea of interdisciplinarity, manifested in seemingly different, but in many points consistent and translatable perceptions and studies on the nature of reality.
The papers are divided into three sections: 1. Nature, 2. Art, 3. Human in society. This division was an attempt to highlight messages implied in texts and discussions, those are the nature of reality as a subject of multidirectional and multidisciplinary research that inspires art. A human presents both as a part of it and as a cognitive subject in this nature.
