Recruitment meetings for high school graduates – an invitation from the UWr Admissions and Promotion Coordination Office
High school graduates, students, and teachers from Wrocław and every corner of Poland!
The University of Wrocław invites you to its baroque heart – the main building – for special recruitment meetings!
During your visit, you will discover the mysteries of one of the most beautiful academic buildings of Poland. We will show you around the beautiful Aula Leopoldina, showcase the museum rooms, and present Wrocław from the viewing terrace of the Mathematical Tower. It is an incredible chance to experience the atmosphere of the university’s history and see how the connection between tradition and modernity.
The most important event will be a presentation about the recruitment process at the university. You will learn about its insights, about how the percentage points of the matriculation exam are converted into recruitment points, what subjects have to be passed in order to be admitted to a field of study of your choice, and which fields of studies are the most popular. We will also explain how to register with the Internet Candidate Registration System (IRK) and how to successfully go through every step of the recruitment process.
We will also explain why the University of Wrocław is a place worth studying at – what it means that it is a Research University, what benefits the Arqus European University Alliance provides, how foreign and domestic student exchanges at our university proceed, and how students can cultivate their passions in scientific circles and student organisations. Our university offers about 150 fields of study in several scientific areas – humanities, social sciences, law, natural sciences, science and technology, and philology.
How can you sign up for a recruitment meeting? Very easily – just send an email to agata.mitek@uwr.edu.pl and we will arrange a convenient date. We welcome you from Monday to Friday from 10:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. (excluding Wednesdays, when the UWr Museum is closed to the public). Participation in recruitment meetings is free of charge. You are most welcome!
