Representation of the University of Wrocław in the international trial simulation competition
On April 28-30, 2023, at the Inter University Center in Dubrovnik, the team of the University of Wrocław, composed of Gracjan Ciupa, Aleksandra Flis, Weronika Kuroń, and Witold Podraza, whose trainers were mgr Agnieszka Frąckowiak-Adamska and mgr Maciej Gajos, participated in the oral rounds of the Central and Eastern Moot Competition 2023.
This competition is organized by the British Law Center of Juris Angliae Scientia under the auspices of the University of Cambridge and the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU). In the course of their struggle, participants play the role of lawyers representing parties in preliminary ruling proceedings before the CJEU. The panel of judges that evaluated the participants’ presentations was chaired by world-renowned lawyers such as Advocate-General Eleanor V. E. Sharpston and Advocate-General Michal Bobek.
During their struggles in Dubrovnik, the Wrocław team achieved considerable successes: Gracjan Ciupa was awarded the individual Noted Speaker award, and the representation of the University of Wrocław was ranked 5th in the category of pleadings.
Congratulations!
