RODBUK now available to the University of Wrocław community – new research data repository

As of 24 March, the Research Data Repository of Kraków Universities (RODBUK) at the University of Wrocław is fully operational and accessible to academic staff, doctoral candidates, and students of the University of Wrocław via the website: https://uwr.rodbuk.pl

Login is available using university email addresses.

The Rodbuk Repository is intended for the collection, storage, and public sharing of research data generated during scientific work and research projects carried out by academic staff, doctoral candidates, and students of the University of Wrocław. RODBUK is open to all research institutions wishing to deposit their research data. Each dataset uploaded to the repository will be automatically assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier). All published metadata comply with the guidelines set out by OpenAIRE. The Repository follows the FAIR principles.

Support for depositing and managing research data is provided by Data Stewards assigned to specific Faculties and Research Units:

  • mgr Marcin Kaźmierczyk – Faculty of Chemistry, Faculty of Biotechnology, Faculty of Biological Sciences, Interfaculty Environmental Protection Studies
  • mgr Wojciech Sierżęga – Faculty of Social Communication and Media Studies, Faculty of Letters, Faculty of Languages, Cultures and Literatures, Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics, College for Interdisciplinary Individual Studies
  • dr Mariusz Pandura – Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Historical and Pedagogical Sciences
  • mgr Łukasz Kasprzak – Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, Faculty of Physics and Astronomy, Faculty of Earth Sciences and Environmental Management

At present, the Data Stewards are conducting training sessions on depositing research data in the Rodbuk Repository for all project leaders and other interested individuals.
