
Roman Studies Week 2026
The next edition of Roman Studies Week, a nationwide series of online lectures devoted to the languages, literatures and cultures of Romance countries, will take place on 16-22 March.
The event is organised by the Institute of Romance Studies at the University of Wrocław and the Institute of Romance Studies at the Faculty of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University of Warsaw.
All lectures will be available on the YouTube channel @TydzieńRomanistyki.
The programme includes:foreign language teaching and the challenges of AI in translation
The Enlightenment and its contemporary contexts
The regions and languages of France
literary visions of the world and cultures
a linguistic and cultural journey to Italy
Romance languages as the languages of the future
This is an excellent opportunity to look at the Romance world from different perspectives: linguistic, literary, cultural and educational.
