
Round Table on ESG at PWr with the participation of our expert
Wrocław University of Science and Technology is organising the event “Round Table on ESG”, which will provide an opportunity to discuss how universities implement and report good practices in the field of sustainable development. Participants will also hear opinions from representatives of non-governmental organisations and the academic community on the role of education in building awareness of ESG and sustainable development issues.
One of the speakers will be dr Kamila Kamińska, Head of the Social Responsibility Office, and Coordinator for the Third Mission of the University of Wrocław.
The event will take place on 12 May at 10:00 a.m. in building L-2 at ul. Na Grobli 13 in Wrocław. The meeting is addressed to university staff, as well as students and doctoral students interested in ESG-related topics.
On the same day, workshops entitled “Sustainable Development in Practice” will also be organised. Participants will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and practical skills in the following areas”
- Corporate social responsibility (CSR) and ESG, and their significance in contemporary organisations,
- non-financial reporting and the selection of ESRS standards,
- the concept of sustainable development and stakeholder dialogue,
- the functioning of ESG within organisations and its impact on business decisions,
- Identifying material topics and preparing stakeholder surveys,
- Practical solutions in areas such as energy, transport, and the circular economy.
The workshops will be led by a professional with many years of experience in non-financial reporting gained in the private sector.
Participation in both the event and the workshops is free of charge; only prior registration via the designated form is required.
