INFORMATION ON ACCOMMODATION IN THE HALL OF RESIDENCE “SŁOWIANKA”

ACCOMMODATION

  1. For accommodation, students report directly to the administration of the student house in which the place has been allocated.

2. Students must be accommodated no later than the date given on the lists or assignments of students qualified for accommodation in the student house.

Those who have not accommodated themselves by this date will lose their place in the student house.

If you are unable to arrive at the designated times, you are required to contact us by email (slowianka@uwr.edu.pl) or telephone (+48 71 328 29 51) during the office hours of the student house “Słowianka” administration, i.e. Mon-Fri: 08:00-15:00, in order to arrange entry to the facility.

Those who do not comply with the above arrangements will not be allowed to enter the building.

3. Questions concerning the type of room and possible roommate should be dealt with on the day of accommodation at the administration of the student house in which the places are allocated.

4. Payments for accommodation should be made by non-cash payment (bank transfer) to an individual bank account generated in the USOS system. Payment for accommodation in the hall of residence is to be made by bank transfer to the student residence account. It must be paid by the 5th day of each month.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ACCOMMODATION:

  • student card (only applicable to students of higher years),
  • identity card/passport (additionally foreigners photocopies of (EU) identity card/passport and a document entitling to stay in the Republic of Poland, e.g., visa, temporary residence card),
  • printout or scan of the confirmation of payment of the fee

and completed document forms:

  • declaration of temporary residence (meldunek), in accordance with the model provided on the website
  • mandate for registration and RODO
  • information obligation for accommodation in a student house (RODO)
  • consent of parents/legal guardians to live in the hall of residence (applies to minors).

Standard description: Student House “Słowianka”, Plac Grunwaldzki 26, Wrocław

The student house provides 171 rooms on 4 floors including :

  • 12 – single rooms
  • 159 – double rooms
  • couches with bedding storage
  • desks
  • chairs
  • bookcases
  • wall shelves
  • wardrobes
  • kitchen cabinets
  • lamps
  • refrigerator
  • curtains
  • bed linen, duvet, pillow, blanket for each resident

On each floor there are:

3 kitchens equipped with:

  • sink, drainer for dishes
  • gas cooker and oven
  • table
  • chairs

The student house is not equipped with crockery, pots, kitchen accessories

3 bathrooms with showers, washbasins and toilets

3 laundry rooms with drying rooms equipped with:

  • automatic washing machine
  • single-bowl sink
  • an iron can be hired at the reception
  • the administration provides an ironing board

There is a TV room on the ground floor of the building, a study room on the fifth floor and a sports hall.

W budynku działa sieć Wi-Fi.
