
Success of a UWr Student in the nationwide competition “Podatki Proste jak Drut”!
We are delighted to announce that Adrian Nykiel, a graduate of the University of Wrocław, has been named a laureate of the nationwide competition for the best master’s thesis in the field of tax law and tax economics, organised by the Mazovian Branch of the National Chamber of Tax Advisers.
The official announcement of the results took place on 15 May 2025 at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, during the celebration of Tax Adviser’s Day – a prestigious event attended by tax advisers from across Poland and invited guests.
Adrian Nykiel’s award-winning master’s thesis is titled: “Tax Aspects of Trading Virtual Currencies in Poland”. The thesis was supervised by dr hab. Witold Srokosz, prof. UWr.
In recognition of the high academic standard and topical relevance of the work, the author received a cash prize of 10,000 PLN and a voucher for a preparatory course for the tax adviser profession, organised by the KIDP.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Adrian and his supervisor, and wish them continued success in their academic and professional pursuits!
