Success of prof. Drulis Kawa
Professor Zuzanna Drulis-Kawa from the Department of Pathogen Biology and Immunology at the Faculty of Biological Sciences has received funding for a 3-year research project under the international competition Disrupting drug resistance using innovative design (DRUID), the Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance (ERA-NET JPIAMR-ACTION; https://www.jpiamr.eu/calls/).
The project entitled “Design and implementation of effective cOmbination of Phages and Antibiotics for improved TheRApy protocols against KLEbsiella pneumoniae” with the acronym KLEOPATRA will be carried out by centres from five countries: Poland (UWr coordinator), Belgium, Germany, France and Israel. The total budget of the project is EUR 1.5 million.
