Szewski Czwartek from Siedlęcin
Another Szewski Czwartek is upon us. This time, the Historical Institute of the University of Wrocław invites you to Siedlęcin near Jelenia Góra, which hides unique 14th-century paintings depicting the story of Guinevere and Lancelot, the knight of King Arthur.
Dr Przemysław Nocuń from the Jagiellonian University, a specialist in late medieval and modern archaeology, will be an online guest. He will give a lecture entitled ‘Lancelot pod Śnieżką. Średniowieczna wieża w Siedlęcinie w świetle najnowszych badań’, during which he will talk about the research carried out on this remarkable site and its fascinating results.
