Teachers at the UWr Centre for Astronomy Education in Białkowo
On 12 June, another meeting was held as part of a seminar aimed at physics teachers entitled Problemy dydaktyki fizyki (eng. Problems of the didactics of physics), organised by the Department of Physics Teaching at the UWr Institute of Experimental Physics and the Wrocław Branch of the Polish Physical Society.
As part of a June seminar entitled OEA UWr in Białków – support for school astronomy education, participants visited the Centre for Astronomy Education at the University of Wrocław, where they were able not only to learn about the activities on offer to pupils, but also to see the places where our astronomers conduct their observations, including the coronograph.
The meeting in Białkowo was hosted and chaired by prof. dr hab. Paweł Rudawy, associate professor at the Astronomical Institute at the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Wrocław, member of the Astronomy Committee at the Third Faculty of Science and Earth Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
The meeting was attended by 30 physics teachers from Wrocław and Lower Silesia, as well as from Poznań and Warsaw. Both from primary and secondary schools.
