The National One Novel Competition

We invite everyone (open category!) to participate in the competition. There are lots of great prizes to win! The eighth edition of the National One Novel Competition, this time dedicated to “War with the Newts” by Karl Čapek, will take place on 19 April 2024, hour. 18:00, online.

Organizers (Student Scientific Association of Russicists WroSlawianie in cooperation with the Student Scientific Association Ljudi, the Department of Russian Literature and Culture of the Institute of Slavic Studies UWr, and the Department of Practical Russian Language Learning at the University of Wrocław) invite all willing to play. The competition, as it was in previous years, is divided into two categories: for students of the University of Wrocław and for “the rest of the world.”

The competition will take the form of a completely anonymous online test (closed single-choice questions.) The test concerns only the content of the book (it is not necessary to have any knowledge outside the scope of the book.)

Completely independent of the score achieved in the test, the most creative nicknames will also be awarded.
